About Us

At the Windsor Law Firm, PLC, we help our clients create estate plans that achieve their goal of passing property to their beneficiaries in the most tax-efficient way possible. We advise clients on all aspects of estate planning. We draft wills, revocable trusts, insurance trusts, powers of attorney, and living wills/health care proxies for our clients in addition to other estate planning documents.

While we focus on minimizing estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer taxes, we are also aware of the various personal issues that arise among families than dealing with estate planning. We know it is of utmost importance to our clients that they be able to take care of their loved ones and provide security for their families upon their death.

Thinking about who will care for your minor children or who will receive your property on your death and in what form can be emotionally challenging. We understand that --- and we take into account the emotions as well as the legal and tax aspects in this process.

For example, we help clients who have minor children understand the implications of their choice of guardians. We also discuss with parents the benefits of leaving their assets in trust for their children and the most suitable time for sucj trusts to terminate. We are acutely aware that effective estate planning goes a long way towards encouraging family harmony after a client is gone.
